Finding my ‘why’ of doing job?

July 10, 2024·1 min read

Abb toh college bhi khatam ho gaya, abb kya?

This was my mental state after graduation.

People usually either go home, join a company, or start preparing for further studies.

But I wasn't doing any of these.

I was trying to work on a freelance agency called

Markals

We were getting projects, but somehow I didn't feel fully secure.

I felt I should have a job to balance out the risk.

The pressure was mounting, and I wasn't in the best mental state.

Then I decided...

To prepare and get a job by August!

In mid-June, I started preparing for interviews. Leaving Jaipur on June 19th was quite emotional - I'd spent a significant time there.

This time, I was clear about why I wanted a job. I defined it as MENC:

M - MONEY

E - Experience

N - Network

C - Confidence

This clarity really helped drive me.

I learned that day: if your "WHY" is crystal clear, things become accomplishable!
